After 25 years as a TurboTax customer, I AM DONE.

TurboTax Deluxe for 2023 has a bug that's preventing me from e-filing my taxes. Every time I try to file, a window pops up that says I can't claim the Energy Efficient Commercial Building credit on my Schedule C without a Form 7205, and that TurboTax doesn't support that form!

But I am NOT claiming that credit. Line 27b on the Schedule C, which asks for that form, is ZERO! Trying to communicate with Intuit's laughably mis-named "customer service" staff is impossible without ponying up more money. Online help?

A bad joke. Just robots parrotting back what you say, and trying to get you to sign up for a $55 a month service before you can even speak to a human being. Trying a phone call? That robot will say it can't find a record that I'm a customer, and hangs up on me.

Trying to log into the Intuit website as a customer? It claims my password -- which I just re-set weeks ago when I couldn't download the software without logging in -- is incorrect, even though they recognized my account well enough to email me a log-in code. Intuit used to be a good company.

But their greed and disregard for their customers -- whether using QuickBooks or TurboTax -- has gotten out of control. Absolutely the worst corporate "customer service" experience I've ever had -- and that's saying something.
